The Calcis product line includes stable lime products that are stored frost-free for a long time after production. Storage is carried out in specially sealed containers. Thanks to ageing, the product is easier to use, more economical, its consistency is more elastic, its covering capacity and water retention capacity are higher, the mortar made from such lime is more durable.
We offer the following types of aged lime:
Calcis Novus: lime aged for 3 months, which is recommended for plastering, masonry. There are no unquenched grains in the product, so we can prevent the formation of the so-called "lime worm".
Calcis Antiqua I: lime aged for 1 year, from which high-quality lime paints can be obtained..
Calcis Antiqua III: lime aged for 3 years, from which a special lime dye with high covering capacity can be obtained, and this lime is suitable for the restoration of protected buildings.
Calcis Antiqua VI: lime aged for 6 years, which is especially recommended for monument protection, restoration, frescoing and renovation. Characterized by exceptional opacity and economy.
Aqua Calcis: a solution saturated with calcium hydroxide, perfect for priming lime paints and reducing moisture absorption on the surface to be painted. Suitable for dilution of Calcis Antiqua products. Aqua Calcis does not contain any natural or synthetic additives.
